I think it would have been nice to be with the project for one more week, but I certainly got much of what I wanted!
As far as the oldest glacier ... since a glacier is a river of ice ... the ice is constantly being replenished, just not at the same rate it's being lost. So all glaciers a fairly young by geology standards. So I'm not real sure how old they are, but most have ice that is probably less than a couple hundred thousand years old, and that's pretty young.
