What are your top 3 memories of your expedition?
Number one has to be Paul's smiling face. No matter how difficult things were or how cold it was, Paul was ALWAYS smiling.
Number two, our evening meetings are New Harbor camp. Because the camp was so small, and the other researcher team needed a time to eat their dinners in peace and warmth, our team gathered chairs in a circle outside and talked over the days events, a wonderful break from the research hustle.
Number three was walking all over with Paul, trying to relocate his old sites. It gave me a real sense of how difficult research was to conduct 40 plus years ago, before GPS!
