Global WARMing???

Hi!
I'm a high school Environmental Science teacher. I live in New Hampshire and teach in Massachusetts. Many of my students and friends are responding to our current cold snap saying, "Okay Al Gore, whaaaaaat global warming? Send some more CO2 over here!" It's colder where you are, so I'd love to hear your response to this from your perspective.
