Can you feel the temperature of the water when you dive beneath the ice, or does your dry suit keep you relatively warm?

Hello Nate!

Yes, you can feel the temperature of the water, BUT - truthfully, when you first get in, it actually feels quite good (except for your face - that just stings!). I find that I get quite warm getting into all the gear; it's bulky, so I tend to sweat a little bit putting it all on. So, jumping into the water actually doesn't feel too bad (again - except the face - that stings!). I tend to stay quite comfortable for about 25 minutes, then start to feel a little bit cool. After about 30-35 minutes, my feet start to get cold - then the rest of me gets cold quite quickly.

Hope that helps! Thanks for checking in!

Cheers,

Robin
